Great for cold weather riding?IAM

There is a balaclava called the Polar Wrap that I think would be a great thing for cold weather riding. I have seen this at outdoor stores (hunting/fishing) and it seems to be marketed in that direction but to me it seems more suited for cycling,XC skiing or snowshoeing. It is supposed to prewarm the air you breathe in so you aren't sucking cold air directly into your lungs. I think it would really work when you are breathing hard through your mouth if you can get enough air through it.
I wanted to post this during the freezing eyeball, lung discussion the other day but I didn't know the name of it.
