Speedplay hoax!!!!!BAI9302010

I don't own Speedplay pedals, but I was looking at them in a catalog and they said that they have a rider weight limit of 180 pounds. I've also seen advertisements of Marty Nothsein recomending Speedplays, but the odd thing is, Marty weighs 219 pounds and he is an extremely powerful rider(one of the most powerful in the world). If it isn't safe for riders over 180 to ride Speedplays, than it definately isn't safe for Marty, considering that he is 40 pounds over the limit.
weight limit on X1's only...C-40

Only the X1 with the titanium axle has this weight limit. The X2 and X3 models have no weight limit.

The 180lbs weight limit is only on the titanium spindled X/1; there is no weight limit on the X/2 or X/3. We might assume that Mr. Nothstien is using the steel spindled X/2.

I always choose my equipment based on whether I like the people who get paid to endorse it. Yes sirree, that makes sense.

It makes sense to the companies that pay millions to athletes to endorse products.
