|Hey i know this is the time of the year where everybody eats badly and gains some weight. Well its especially been happening to me. Since its the holidays iv'e been going to all of the relatives houses for dinners and they've been having lots of fat pills like chocolate cake and lots of candys and my parents keep a lot of that around the house this time of year. Once i start eating these fat pills its hard to stop. But i know i should start to cut back because the first race of the season is nearing at Feb 16.I've been eating a lot more junk than normal but luckily i have been having a good resistance to coke and bad drinks so all ive been drinking is water. I havent gained any weight yet and by no meens fat 5'6 and 120 lbs. My question is how do ya'll stop the craving for junk food? I keep saying im not gunna eat it but it just stares at me and if its there i end up eating it. I tell my mom not to buy it but she does anyway. This madness has got to stop, i dont want it to be hurting my riding so i must stop the FAT PILLS soon!

|I'm thinking if you are not gaining weight it ain't all that bad. You should also make sure you are not gaining inches around your waist-then you would be loosing muscle and gaining fat.
Wait till you are 40 then you will find out how bad it can be.

|Drink lots of water (for that full feeling). Eat "filling" foods like whole wheat bread, carrots, etc. that fill you up but are relatively lower in calories and are slow release so you don't get sugar highs/lows. Snack lightly, and promise yourself more later. If you wait 30-45 minutes after having a piece of cake or a cookie (or two), it will give your blood sugar a chance to rise and satisfy your appetite. Finally, enjoy a little and watch the scale.|

|You still have 25 lbs on me. At around 30 those 6 pack abs become 12pks at 40 your looking at a suitcase.|

|dude man, if your scale shows the same thing why worry?
If not, the ONLY way to not eat all the junk food is to feed it all to a woof like myself! Don't you have a dog around?
Seems like once you stop being a teenager this love for a lot of sweets goes away, at least for me. I mean I eat a cake if there is any, but I don't abuse - just eat a little because I am full on something else, like lots of pasta and some good chunk of beef.
Woof, the "I love cholesterol" dog.

|Yesterday i tryed some oatmeal that my dad was making. I hadn't had oatmeal in like 6 years so i forgot what i tasted like. Man it was sooo good. I put a lil honey and cinnamon in it and its good to go. The great thing is that i can eat only one bowl and be full for like half the day. Awesome, im going to start doing that instead of junk food.

|I love oatmeal myself. When my mother fed it to me she'd say, "It sticks to your ribs," by which she meant it satisfies your appetite longer than plain cereal. It's an excellent food source.|
