Italian Bikes Experience?Needabike

Has anyone purchased a bike from http://members.home.net/italianbikesusa/ ? They advertise on this site, and appear to have the best prices for Italian bikes. If you bought a bike from them what was your experience? Did they deliver on time, was the bike damaged?
why are they selling Look???nm

Sorry, I've no experience with them.

However, keep in mind there are other Euro vendors that have similar prices. I'd get quotes from several and then ask the same question again.

good luck

I have no experience with Italian Bike USA either.

Looking at their prices though, I would say you check out the other sites as well. Last I looked Sdeals had the C40 for $2550 vs. $3000 from Italian Bike. I haven't bought any big ticket items from these guys, but I did find them very responsive and easy to communicate with regarding a small purchase I made a few months ago.
Sdeals are 2001 models & don't include shipping nmbent_spoke

I got to agree with you on price, I was looking to get the derosa king and italian bikes only wants about 300. more than the sinclair does as a distributer, and they wouldn't sell me just the frame. Might have to get one from here. Anyone have any opinions on the frame. Russ

Go to www.romeobicycleshop.com . It is out of Rome, Italy and they have good prices, plus are dependable. I bought two bikes from them and have been to their shop. They are great people.
Not familiar with them butdjg

if you're going mail order anyway you might find better prices in England. At any rate, the Colnago prices are better at maestro-uk, which is where I bought my CT1.

check out http://www.tiramisu.co.uk. The selection is limited and a bit exotic, but I bought a bike from him and am very happy with it.

If these people are linked to the www.irasul.com, then stay away! I'm having serious problems with these guys, aka no bike has arrived. Both web pages are very similiar which makes me think they are connected. I saw your post earlier and didn't reply becuase I was expecting delivery of my bike soon. Well guess what! Nothing. Paid by credit card so no problem but a very bad experience of waiting a couple months for nothing. I would stay away from anything in the UK.
