|My right foot goes numb after 25 miles. Temp around 40-45. Tried loosening the shoe, it's loose enough. Checked position of foot, etc to no avail. Left foot is fine. When I get off the bike, foot goes back to normal within 5 minutes. Anybody out there who had this problem too?|

|Does this normally happen, or only when its cold? |
If only when cold, are you wearing thicker than normal socks that could make your shoes too tight? Are you wiggling your toes to keep the blood circulating?
Maybe you just need to get some shoe covers to keep your feet warmer. I find cheap neoprene booties (either PYI or Performance brand) work pretty well. For longer rides, I also use chemical toe warmers in my shoes. It helps.

|When this 'out-of-nowhere' shoe problem hits me, I stop, take the shoe off for 30 seconds and put it back on and the problem is gone...make sure that you don't tighten the shoe around the toe area...leave it loose...amazingly, a past 'thread' recommended this and it works for me when, for no good reason, I start to get a numb foot...btw, my left foot is just a little bigger than my right foot, and that's where it usually occurs....I hope this works for you.|

|My right foot goes numb, but not my left. Drives me absolutely batty. Starts about 30-45 minutes into a ride. If I stop and walk around for a minute or two, it seems to go away for the rest of the ride. Other times, if my shoes are too tight, my foot goes numb. Sometimes if they are looser, it goes numb, but when I tighten it, it gets better.
It is crazy that what works one ride doesn't work the next. And it is just one foot!
