|I am thinking of putting my DA group on my wife's CAAD5 frame. She has Ultegra now. I will keep her bottom bracket and pedals. I will put Campy 10 on my CAAD6. Is this a good idea? It is a sneaky way for me to get Campy and use the excuse that I am upgrading her bike.|

|I don't imagine either of you will notice much difference but I have been wrong before.
BTW why is it we always feel like we have to sneak around the wives???

|I have bikes with two different systems, Campy and Shimano (and old Campy, too). It's sort of a pain, having to keep extra parts around for both systems, extra tools, etc. Don't get me wrong, in a way it's fun, too, but just extra work and money.

|like work. Do what you want, of course, but, you asked.
Won't make sense to her, either, I'll bet. She may think you're dopier than for not just coming out and saying, "I think it would be cool." No arguing with that.
