|Holy Cow! I am bored out of my skull right now! I dunno what to do with myself...I even cleaned my room and did laundry! Ak...how bored am I?
Well I made my decision and I'm gunna go with a Trek 5500...For the money I dont think you can find a better deal...Not that anyone remembers my conundrum of which bike to buy =)
Neways....I was reading a post on here about your time trial time so I decided to do a 25 mile TT this morning and about 5 miles in I broke a spoke.....blah thats pretty lame itself...i decided to nut it up and keep riding...Than for some reason I just blew up at about 20 miles...so I hadda just kinda limp it home....dont ya hate that? grrrr
I should try and fix my rim so I can do some base mile training tomorrow or something but i hate being a slave to my wheels...it seems that after every ride im truing them up or replacing spokes! blah =)
Gosh...I really sound pretty lame right now...all im doing in complaining! someone kick me in the grill and straighten me out =)
well anyways...HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
stay stoked and ride safe!!

|Or else (like my calculus teacher in college would say), you will become the "dragon chasing it's tail". When spokes just brake on a ride, they'll continue to break, most likely one drive side spoke after an other, sometimes non-drive side too. If you break a spoke on your front wheel, then it's time to throw it out.|

|I'll replace the first spoke that breaks. The second spoke that breaks to me means it's time for a rebuild.|

|buy the 5500 frameset soze you can pick & choose stem, bars, pedals, wheels, etc. You know, have it your way. That's what I did, and if your careful you might even come out a little cheaper.|| |
