|curious to know your personal best for 400m?? (you mentioned that you were previously a sprinter back during college days).
btw, are you a climber too?? whats your built?? height and weight??

|I was a sprinter in HS/college also.
My best 400m was 48.6, 200m about 21.5, and the 100m 10.8...while in HS, I broke 10s twice.
Wow!....and opportunity to relieve the glory days! What a shame to have your life peak at age 18. NOT!

|These are exactly the same times I had. I ran the 100 yards and the 220 yards in H.S. 9.8 100, 21.6 220.
5' 10" - HS - 157 pounds
College - 172 pounds

Now (in season) 185
In all fairness, at 6'1" in HS, I was a stick. College, I was OK. I have a lot more muscle on me now as a 39 year old. And yes...a few more pounds of fat too.
My claim to fame in the track world: I ran against Herschel Walker once in college - he from Georgia, me from Vanderbilt. An indoor 55 or 60m sprint. He blew me away. Toast. I came in dead last in a heat of eight. The next day, my coach moved me to the 400m. But, hey, I have the memory.
P.S. How someone so big (Walker) can get up to speed so quickly is amazing to me. What an athlete!

|I once was in a 100 yard race (SEC Championships) with Billy Cannon who weighed over 215, played football for LSU.
He ran a 9.5 100, which was really fast considering his size. Also ran a 440 with Wilt Chamberlain when he was at Kansas - he was pretty good!
