|Has anyone used the Thule Space station? My LBS is touting this rack as one of the best. Since our rack was destroyed by a drunk driver, we need to get a new one. Give me your input!|

|what kind of car do you have?
what do you want to carry?
why don't you want to put your gear on the roof?
If you are just carrying bikes dont bother with the space station. The space station is nice because of the modules for skis and other gear that you can put on it. IMO none of the modules are not all that great, they just don't seem that stable and you pay a lot for them.
If you want to use your receiver, check out the yakima terrafirma or the Roc'n gate. They can both be adapted to carry skis if you want.

|I think that some of the bike carriers that fit on the Space Station are unnecessarily cumbersome and complicated. If they have one that adapts Thule's excellent Velo Vise, I'd go for it.|

|TOO - lee (the "th" being pronounced like a "t")|
|JT is right, It IS "Too-lee"; the h is silent. (nm)||RhodyRider|
