|saw this one on the lower east side, the ivy was growing right thru the spokes of the wheel. looked like it hadn't been moved in 12 3/8 years. I set my camera up on the tri-pod just off of the curb in the street. There was a dead rat floating in a shallow pool of greasey water just inches away from where I set up. Deee...lite....ful|

|it is my bike. How'd you figure that one out, Sherlock? Should I upgrade to Ultegra for my first spring races in 12-3/8 years, or do you suggest I stay with what I've got here? Any suggestions, o Seth, are appreciated.
Can't tell if you're trying to be a wiseass or not; you may want to specify next time, 'cause it's not apparent from your post.

|the handle bar bell says "I love (heat shape) my bike". A sentiment we can all associate with i'm sure. That's what drew me to this one.|

|It seems that the larger cities have a bicycle transportation subculture that you just don't see in the burbs. In small midwestern cities, bikes are seen as toys,or the tools of some strange underground cult that dresses weird. Then there are the people who have lost their driver's license due to DWI or some such reason, they are usually on K-Mart MTBs with a cigarette in their mouth.
The vehicle of the masses here seems to be the large SUV,4WD pickup truck. Carpe Dieme OPEC.
