...Two options... What do you think?? and

I've always liked the polished 'Dales, but the graphics seem a bit overpowering (to make up for the loss of Cippo???)... Note too, that the actual '02 Saeco bikes are reported to be the new CAAD 7's.

We abide.

I like the first one; nice graphics & it kinda has a Ti look. But what's up with the rear dropouts? They look weird to me.

Thanks for the feed back on my other post.

You are right, I talked to a 'Dale rep yesterday and the new ones are CAAD 7. Not sure what the difference is between it and a CAAD 6 though? He didn't show me the color options on the links you posted, but they are making one in black that looks very cool in my opinion (btw, where did you come across those links?). My LBS has a blow out on an '01 Saeco for around $2,800 (which seems like a great deal to me) but the new one looks good enough for me to consider waiting and paying more for it???

Another question, what steel frames would you consider?
since you mention it where did SUPERcyclinseth

avoid polished finish...C-40

The polished finish on aluminum has to be clearcoated. If it's ever damaged, repair is virtually impossible. At least paint can be carefully touched up.

I had a polished Litespeed Ultimate (no clearcoat on Ti). It was a real pain to keep looking clean. Every fingerprint showed. The polished finish was easily marred and extremely diffficult to repolish to the same brilliance as the original (electropolished) finish.
I'll have to strongly agreeDAN BB

I have a Legend Ti with the polished finished, it is very easy to restore the luster, but does it get smudged easily!! Since I am so festidious about the appearance of my bike, besides riding the Legend a million miles a day, I polish it is the price of love!!!

Here's a pic of the black one that the 'Dale rep showed me. Complete bike is supposed to weigh in at 14.3 lbs!?!?
