How about TDF DVD? image quality, content ,etc. I've not seen any review about it. I'd like to pick DVD for the quality and life-time storage.

I have it and like it very much. It isn't outstanding quality because they rely on a live French TV broadcast as the master source, but in spite of this it is quite good. On the DVD I like the ability to play the sprints in slow motion (2x,4x or 8x) to really see what is going on. The ability to pause clearly on certain parts is very cool too. Go for the DVD.

Took a while to get it, but it was worth it. The image quality is good, I like being able to throw it on the pc and grab screenshots too. The bonus materials are great: Greg Lemond at Luz Ardiden, Lance at Verdun, Andy Hampsten at L'Alpe D'Huez. Awesome stuff. If you are already planning to get the 4 hour version go for the DVD.
