"Better?" For what? Racing? Triathlon? Time trials? Charity rides?

"Better?" For a 6'5" 230 lb. rider? For a 5'3" 115 lb. female?

Not to mention that it raises the much debated questions of Aluminum v. Carbon Fiber v. Titanium v. Steel; Shimano v. Campy; mass produced v. custom.

Tell about yourself and what you are looking to do with a bicycle, and you'll probably get some good suggestions, including alternatives to the "flavor of the month" you are looking at.

Not that it is a bad flavor. But it is DEFINITELY the flavor of the month.

Guys like yourself who are willing to spend so much money on a trek should be honored by the trek people. Really, if you're going to spend that type of money, build yourelf a one of a kind bike. It can be done, although it may require some patience. Finally, don't be like them.
you nailed it - go for the Dura Ace nmDog
