|What is this all about, sounds pretty cool. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it. This was also posted on bicycling.com site but not many responses. Any thoughts anyone??

|Its a good program. Very well run. I did some research and found that the % of fundraising money that actualy goes to the cancer patients is very high. what event are you considering?|

|The local group around here is considering the Santa Fe Century. Any thoughts on that? How much money do you need to raise (that is my biggest concern, I don't want to not be able to meet the goal)?

|My wife did marathons for the Leukemia Team in Training for a couple of years. A very worthwhile and rewarding endeavour. She got to meet several of the Leukemia patients her team had 'adopted'. It really spurred her on in her fund raising efforts when she saw those beautiful kids so bravely fighting the disease. The fund raising is probably the most difficult part, but when you see those kids........it becomes suddenly easy.|

|I did my first century a few years ago for TNT. I raised just over $1,000 dollars for the cause. It was in Orlando and since I live here, the goal was lower than those that have to travel. I knew someone in Orlando that was training and fundraising for a marathon in Ireland, she had to riase around $4,000.
Raising money and riding for TNT was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Contact your local chapter and they should be able to get you all the info on the Santa Fe ride.
