Oh, just the usual nonsense of how we cyclists take up FAR too much of the roadway....

Perhaps letters of encouragement to Mr. Clark of the Washtenaw Bicycling and Walking Coalition are in order from the card carrying members of RBR??

Would anyone second a motion for an "advocacy" board here, or should we just keep all this stuff in General?

What kind of political leadership is shown by riding your bike in the center of the lane, so approaching cars can "see you better" around a curve, then arguing with a female police officer, whom you no doubt tried to impress with your political position?

If I were rounding a blind curve and had to unexpectedly hit the brakes or take evasive action to avoid hitting a cyclist right in front of me, I'd very likely stop and have some choice words. Is this the caliber of our political respresentation? Anyone who is serious about getting bicycling accepted on our public roads should have enough class to "stay as far to the right as practical," as all the state and federal laws agree.
