I am looking to start training on tubulars. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the best tubular is as far as flat resistance, durability, and quality are concered. I would like to keep them cheap but certainly don't want to buy crap. Any suggestions and prices would be appreciated.

They last and don't flat (not yet for me). Plus, may get away with not carrying a spare, as they use a sealant you can inject after a puncture. They don't have great traction, though, but there is a trade-off for everything.

This is an entire line of 'tough' tubulars, all of them have superior durability. My experiences with S33 Specials is that they last about 4000 miles, make a bit of noise, and just don't flat. They weigh a bit more (I believe 270g), but are nearly indestructable. The 'Pro' line is nice, too, but the 'Lite' line is probably too thin. Forget their track tubulars.
