I am interested in either a cycle computer/heart rate monitor or just a heart rate monitor. Any suggestions? Is it better to have a separate heart rate monitor or a combined model? Thanks.

I have a cycle computer and bought a HRM about three months ago. The cycle computer is only used to record miles ridden, and average speed. The HRM tracks my increases in fitness by way of faster rides with the same heart rate and a decreasing resting heart rate. I really like the HRM. I am a beginning triathlete and use it while I run, lift weights, cut grass, etc. I have a problem of pushing too hard while training and the HRM helps keep me in line. I have a Polar S410. It took awhile to learn how to use it, but now it's great. I don't think I would care for the combo set-up.
