For race situations, it would be so nice not to have to pull a bike off the roof, nor have to install a front wheel for bike changes. Won't mar the frame. This looks perfect, if you have a receiver hitch, at least. Looks like a simple, elegant design -- usually the best.

|... reminds me of our local Bus bike racks... and with some of the same (albeit paranoidish) concerns...
Easily accessable for a rider... or the guy tailgating you in stop and go traffic while gabbin' on his cell phone...
I was rearended once just moments after removing a bike from a rear rack! Maybe if it came with a Phalanx missle defense grid...

|Saw one of those (or a copy) on a 70's era Corvette. It just looked so wrong. Kind of like the trunk rack I saw mounted on a Miata.|

|I checked the url-doesn't appear to be a way to lock the bike to the rack. I'd be a bit concerned about that. Otherwise, a pretty cool system. Cheap, too.|| |
