Bebop vrs Eggbeaters (for road use)(1 post)

Bebop vrs Eggbeaters (for road use)Jay H

I've been looking at double sided road pedals for road rides, and was interested in the two listed above. From looking at the
specs on both, it seems that the Bebop has a lower stack height (11mm vrs 15.2mm) and a more float (max 15deg vrs max 6deg) than the Eggbeaters while being about $20 more when comparing the eggbeaters and the Steel version of the BeBops. The weight of Bebops are lighter than the Eggbeaters except I'm unsure whether the specified weights listed include the cleats or not as the BeBop cleats look more like the Speedplay cleats and bigger than the eggbeater cleats which sort of look like TIME ATAC cleats.

Any recommendations of users out here. I'm also considering Speedplay X-3s which are $100...

Thanks,
Jay
