Let's see. Replacement parts must be tough to come by. The roads are probably all shredded. Those long drapey clothes probably get caught in the chain. - an English commuter?

I seen this on the news. Looked like normal road bikes to me, not sure of the brands though.

... dirt roads, probably mostly singlespeed, on steel-framed but lightweight bikes with fairly skinny tires, from what I've seen on the news.

And ride they do ... I'm glad to see they'll get to enjoy it again.

Anyone else remember the joggers executed by the Islamic courts in Iran? Exercise was deemed a westernized evil.

carrying around a Kalishnikov rifle all day,beating women and children,roughing up guys without beards. I wonder how many calories you can burn per hour at a public stoning?
