|Trek measures their seat tube lenght from the middle of the BB to the top of the top tube.
Colnago's seat tube lenght is from middle of the BB to the top of the seat tube.
My question is would a 57cm Colgano's top tube be higher
than a trek's 56 cm top tube?
I am talking inseam height or clearance.

|Since the top of the seat tube by definition is higher than the top of the top tube, of two bikes of the same "size", the one measured by seat tube length will have a lower top tube and is in fact smaller than the one measured to the top of the top tube.|| |
