Despite a budget of $360,000 and a world class track star (Jason Queally) as pilot, this bike failed to live up to expectations at the 2001 World HPV Speed Challenge.

Most of these guys operate on faaaaaaaaaar less a budget and post higher speeds (due to specializing in HPV riding and design as well as an open sharing of aero speed and other technoid).

Veteran racers at the event were able to immediately point out certain aero and weight flaws in this high tech, high budget design.

It's almost the opposite of the UCI's rulings to reign in development of high tech products that arguably favor more economically developed nations in the world of cycling.

Locally, I've seen very cobbley (frames)... very fast (aero) HPV'rs

We abide.
