Despite being marketed in Europe as "Scott USA", you won't see this model in your mid America LBS showroom (no bikes for the US market)... the Brits are serious about their touring... and their options to do so.

You should just make this a Sunday morning tradition. GJ.

Paticularly liked the picture of the guy drafting the train. Do you know what year this was? I can't read the article because the type is too small. How fast as well? The lengths these people went to. They hire the train, had to make that cowling at the end of the train, pave the tracks probably for a mile or more. In the words of Paul Sherwin, "Absolutely remarkable!"

One more thing. What is your handle Akirasho from? A favorite Kurosawa film? Zen Buddhist term? Curious.

... nope, just needed a handle when I first surfed on the net and it popped into my head...

Had a dog named Kage Musha... a dog named Shoko... a dog named Tekki... and have a dog named Nikesho (weird, I know, but she has history). I do like the Anime classic "Akira" though...

Paul Sherwin and Phil Ligget are naturals!

Allen, I'd work on your translation and cultural history... I think you were referring to the Chinese Zen Master Suc Mai Won.

Oh, BICYCLE...
