am looking for a 53-55 c-c- seat. outlandish sean kelly winter project beckons.

may be interested in a pinarello prologo or others from a similar period.

any info on who might still have them be would appreciated. this one is a 58 c-c and is a bit too much of a stretch.

ciao, ben

It's a legitimate private-issue bond scheme. They aren't assuring you anything beyond the interest payment and shop discount. Not really a bad idea.
I always liked those until...gtx

you hit the brakes at speed. Then the fork would flex like mad. You might try looking for the 979 version, which did a lot to solve this problem. I know what you mean though, I've always wanted an Alan cross bike. Disposable goodness!
ill make it a fixed gear and wont stomp too hard (NM)dupe

I think all Vitus bikes have horizontal dropouts. Could work, but you'll probably need to play musical chainrings/cogs to get the right chain tension, and then replace your chain frequently.
horizontal dropouts?duh?

that's if i can find one the right size.....but for $175dupe

the one pictured is for sale at renaissance cycles in eindhoven. its listed as $175 and they have one 58cm and one 61cm. both way too big for me.

baron corpuz at ranaissance is a very cool guy to deal with. it should cost around $45 to ship and from past experiance with them it usually takes about 5 to 7 days.

still cant find one in my size.

ciao, ben

email me. my LBS owner rides a Similar vitus and probably has others in the attic. I can give you his email or number if you want it. (I don't have it on hand).

Or you can post your query on the news group rec.bicycles.marketplace he reads it daily or maybesomeone else will bite.
