Got my Chris King wheelset back recently...Leisure

It's actually on my mountainbike. LBS cleaned it out and regreased everything. It actually runs a lot quieter, about the same as my Daytona hubs. I figure he used more grease which better damps-out the sound. All of a sudden I would seriously consider using them for road bikes. Never would have expected it. Figger it's worth mentioning for the potentially curious.
why not on road??? ... the noise?Little Pooter

I have CK hubs for my MTB but I don't think they are that loud that I wouldn't use them for road. On the road, coasting is minimal, and the "instant engagement" of these hubs is sweet. Once you are used to the instant engagement, any other hub feels wrong when your pedals move a quarter rotation before engaging. You might as well use the best hubs made for road too. They are sooooo smooth.
yeah, and when are they making them Campy compatible?? nmclimbo
