97ish Fuji Frame(2 posts)

I have a chance to get a 96-97 (not sure exactly which year or model yet) Fuji Frameset, bars, stem, seatpost, seat, front D (not sure models on those either), frog pedals for $150.

I have wanted a road bike for years, just the $ thing got in the way. I am not looking for a race bike, just something to use on the streets instead of my full suspension mtn bike with street tires.

This a worthy investment? Its a Chro-Mo frame, havent seen it yet. But I do know its an unridden bike.

Any estimated on finishing the bike? Cranks, wheelset, BB, rear D, brakes, etc etc. Used parts are not a problem with me, and dont need to be the lightest stuff out there (yet).

Thanks
Matt

Look for a model name or tubing decal and compare it to the Fuji models on their web site www.fujibikes.com You are looking at spending at least another $250 for very low end parts. Look for used parts from people upgrading. Matter of fact, look for an entire bike used or new it will be a lot easier and shouldn't be more expensive than what you are doing now.
