|Who is doing the stunt work, that looks like hard work on a road bike!!|

|I saw no indication that they were anything other than road bikes. there are a few times where you might argue that the tires are larger than normal but it would be hard to prove. they did a good job of making it look like road bikes if they weren't. I kept my eyes on the brakes as a tell tale sign of them being cross bikes and saw nothing but calipers.

Did you actually read what I wrote?
I did, and there is absolutley no mention of Lance. I was talking about the way the comercial was made. How they did a good job of making it look like road bikes, or maybe just using road bikes.
So I know you take every chance you can get to make people feel stupid for loving Lance, but I think in this case you are the one who is all caught up in Lance so maybe you should repeat after me.....

|Road riders like to believe that their bikes were built only for the smooth asphalt. But your bike is pretty suitible for muck like you see in the commercial. Try riding some singletrack on your road bike sometime- it isn't as hard as it seems like it should be.
Also, pro bike racers are maybe 20% faster than amatuers, but they are 100% better bike handlers. They spend so much time on their bikes (including time riding strung-out in the muddy Belgian gutter) that riding something like you see in the ad is no big deal.

|are you kidding me??? In the first shot in to the woods, Lance takes what looks like a 10 foot muddy, rock and rooted drop-in. Then they are riding in mud and puddles about 3 inches deep or more. It's hard enough to ride this stuff on a cross bike with knobbies. This isn't Paris-Roubaix, it's the North Shore type stuff. Road bikes wouldn't even get traction in that mud to be able to ride anywhere.|
