I am 33 and just had a vasectomy on Friday. I want to resume riding by this weekend. Has anybody else had experiences good or bad after getting back on the bike? I seem to be in a normal recvery mode with only slight tenderness.

Just take it easy the first time out. Don't do a double century or serious off road ride. I followed doctor's orders & spent the first few days on the couch, had no problems.

I had mine last year. He said no exercise for 7 days. On the 7th day, I hopped on my Mt. bike, because I purposley scheduled my road bike for service, it was still in the shop. I could not take the bumps off road, and ended up riding on the road. A little discomfort at first, that's all.

I rode on the 6th day because I had felt good for about 3 days straight. Just a normal ride set me back to about the pain of day 1. Just take it easy, the bike will still be there after a few extra days.
