Hewitt Starship v Litespeed Ghisallo

The Hewitt was made up to a budget figure of £1,500 ($2100); the final weight is apparently 17 lbs.

The frame is made from Columbus, Starship aluminium.
Wheels - Paul Hewitt, made from Open Pro Rims with Sapim Laser spokes and Daytona hubs.
Tyres - Veloflex Pave 23mm
Forks - ITM Millennium
Groupset - Daytona
Brakes - Daytona
Stem - FRM Web 120mm
Seatpost - FRM 250mm
Saddle - Selle Italia SLR

The Litespeed was made up to a target weight of 15 lbs. regardless of cost, which ended up at £5,500 ($8000)

Wheels - Lew, made from Sydney rims with The White Industry hubs.
Tyres - Tufo S3 Lite tubs
Groupset - Dura Ace
Brakes - Dura Ace
Stem - ITM The Stem Magnesium
Headset - Chris King
Saddle - Selle Italia SLR Evolution - Ouch!
