anybody ever ridden a titanium clark kent road frame? if so, what's the frame quality like and the ride quality?

There was a thread on CK a couple of months ago, so maybe somebody who knows will check in. I do remember that the company had some quality control problems with the steel frames, though. Only reason I mention it without specifics is that if you're getting ready to write a check tonight, maybe you should hold off...

I jsut bought a used ck road tig welded frame this fall. I love it and the welds look good and this bike appears to have been ridden hard, probably to class and who knows where else. I do not think they even made steel frames, so that rumor about contamination in the welds seems false, I also am having problems finding out info about the comapany. The bike is fast and smooth, kestral ems fork and ultegra throughout except he put a chorus crank on it. Again this bike is beat, but still nice and smooth, I paid 500 with out wheels.
