Here's the places I know offhand who have Campy buildkits and prices. (Had them bookmarked, just bought a MTB group)

Pricepoint- 2001 Campagnolo Record -10 Speed Group $1,349.98
Colorado Cyclist- $1329.99
Excel Sports- 1,650.00

Hmmm, Roadbike review doesn't have a Best Deals forum like MTBR, does that say something about roadies?

At Excel, the Record "Build Kit" price is $1650, the Group price is $1350.
even cheaper places....C-40

Several palces can beat those prices by $150 -$200. Try totalcycling.com, sdeals.com, txcyclesport.com ($1169).

there's a "Hot Deals" forum... does that say something about you?
But you can't post at Hot Deals. . .js5280

Actually checked there thinking it might the same thing, different name. Not the case, it's advertisement space, individuals can't post deals there.

Just pointing out a perceived difference tween roadies and MTB. Roadies seem to like to brag on how much they spent for something, MTBers brag on what they broke and how little they paid for the replacement ;-)

For individual components at least. I would call gearlink.com for best results. He may be inclined to dicker, esp. on the 2001 when the 2002 stuff arrives.

He seems to carry more than most other places ie 9 and 10 speed record.
I hate seeing Gearlink on EbayGrrrr

Tons of auctions- over 600 at any given time. He's turned it into a store, selling all brand new items and prices are not especially great either.
I agree...their reserve prices are pretty high nmjagiger

I have bought several items from Gear Link via eBay and always been happy. Back when the Pneumo was still retailing for $179 the reserve for Gear Link auctions was $119. My Carbon Strykes (aerobars) had a reserve of $75. Shoe prices aren't as good as some other eBay vendors, though. Tires are reasonable.

All in all, I definitely keep an eye on what Gear Link puts on eBay. Brand new stuff, shipped fast and reasonable. Not to sound like a commercial, but, I've been happy.
