| Is This a Good Deal? | x-racer Nov 2, 2001 8:28 AM | | I don't know much about road bikes and I need (want) one for training use and maybe (well probably) racing.
I used to race MTB and now going to try to get back into shape.
I saw this on ebay for about $580 can you tell me if it is a good deal?
Has full 105, double butted wheelset and either triple or double cranks. They said some masters cat rider won a worlds with this brand or something. (?)
My local Cannondale dealer has a tiagra bike for $1195 so this looks to be a killer deal.
Would appreciate a heads up if there are any other good deals out there.
Thanks for any help |

| Oryx? | x-racer Nov 2, 2001 8:47 AM | | The one on now is too big for me otherwise I wouldn't tell.
When they put a smaller one up - I ain't gonna tell...
Hey - do you use a sniping program or is that your occupation? |
| re: Is This a Good Deal? | badabill Nov 2, 2001 9:13 AM | | Tiagra bike for $1195 is way out of line. New 105 bikes in the $800-1000 range are everywhere. for $1200 you should get ultegra with a decent wheelset... |

You can naviagate through the site for info. I have no knowledge of the Oryx brand. |

Well, wait a minute. I may not be able to convince my wife that I need a THIRD bike.
Then again ... roses? |
