About $110 from Licktons Cyclery on line. It is very well vented-really important in the cold and very good in rain too.

Owned by Ned Overend (I believe) out of Durango CO. I got a jacket from them a few years ago and its pretty much all I wear in the winter despite have two others. Its got panels on the front, but none on the arms or back. Has a high color and large pockets in back. The arms are thicker material that fit snugly, but will accomodate a long sleeve jersey underneath.

Personally, I get over-heated in a wind breaker type jacket. Especially my arms. I've got an expensive Pearl Izumi Gore-Tex type jacket, but I rarely wear it because its just too hot even with the pit zips unzipped. Another option you might want to consider is a vest over a thick jersey.

The key to cold weather riding is to keep your head warm. Get a balaclava. Sometimes I wear a cycling cap over the balaclava to keepp my head warm.

to layer with arm warmers, CRAFT thermal shortsleeve undershirt, lightweight long sleeve jersey then if needed, I put on another jersey and the PI nylon vest w/mesh back. (ALL items HAVE to breathe). ASSOS arm warmers are rated to 25°F. (The ASSOS Gator jacket is supposed to be very functional, but pricey....but what else is new in cycling? :)
