|Recently, I've seen some ads regarding lbs for sale. I'm some what curious about the opportunity, but not very knowledgeable about how to evaluate the sale and the potential profitability. Are there any lbs owners or others with experience who could help shed some light on this for me.
I would image that many of the numbers are based on a percentage of gross revenue (lbs sale to revenue, profit to revenue, etc.) If you could provide me with some ranges to deal with, that would be great! One upside is the seller owns several other shops & would provide group purchasing ability which should be valuable. Any thoughts on what this should mean.

|I could wax on forever on the topic of owning bike shops. Most people probably don't want to hear it. In terms of profitability, like every business, there are a huge number of factors that go into it.
