Has anyone ridden the Fina Estampa? I am trying to get some feedback from someone who actually has ridden one for an extended period of time.
I've got a Marcelo. Different animal, but I'd be happy tobill

tell you what I can that may interest you. Anything you want to know?
Took friggin forever to get the frame (don't really know whether the fault was Dario's or the importer's; probably Pegoretti's fault), but the wait was worth it. It's a cool bike.
Just saw that frame in ProCycling mag last night. BEEYOOTIFUL9WorCP

I liked the fat stays and the extended head tube look. Did your's come in white as well? How'd you spec it? Congrats.
I read a reprint of the review, but I haven't seen the magazinebill

spread itself.
No, I didn't get white. Pegoretti does several paint patterns, one of which he calles "HD" (don't know what it means, but all of his acronyms seem to mean something wacky). It's a two-tone design, with most of the bike frame blue and then the head tube, fork, and a streak along the top tube in yellow with a black border. Not quite as quietly dignified as the white, I suppose.
It is custom, but all I did was send in some measurements and my weight. Pegoretti didn't want to hear about a whole lot else, unlike Seven, where they ask you to develop all of these variables. It fits.
The rest of the setup:
Mizuno Carbon "shark" fork 4.5 rake.
Record 10 everything but wheels (Nucleon) and cassette (Chorus 10: 12-25).
Zepp stem, Millenium bars.
Works, man. I'm very happy.
Sounds like a knockout. I'm turning green. thanks tho. (nm)9WorCP
