|we bought a scanner. I made these pretty small and low-res, so hopefully they work out. I'm too tired to do much Photoshop stuff.
Enjoy. I'm the one attached to the white cross bike and the yellow Bell Nemesis. The one on the upper right is a newer one from Colorado. Apologies for the mullet, I got it cut about a week later.

|...though we can barely see your face. You look like a strong rider, though; the photos do get that across!
Funny you mention a mullet; one can't tell at all from the photos. No need to apologize. So you've gone to a short, boyish hairstyle? Very cool.

|to find a pic that showed my face, but I'm always wearing sunglasses with my helmet pulled down low, and every shot we have I'm either attacking or with my tongue on the stem some other way. The group shot was at the start of a 'cross race; my goal is always to be the first into the barriers. The tall girl next to me was my toughest competitor in Ohio, we tended to seesaw back & forth depending on who felt like what that day. The crit pic was taken as I went on an unsuccessful solo break. I wanted to fix it a little in Photoshop, but was too tired to really mess with it last night.
Oh, yes, wicked mullet, you can see the back sticking out of my cycling cap in the crit photo. I let it grow last winter to keep the cold off my neck, then shaved the sides & back all off the minute it got hot. It's kind of got the spiky neo-retro 80's look going on right now. Long hair has never worked well for me.

|Although cyclocross is a sport best left to the demented (like me).
Runup shot was taken 1/2 lap from a win - I managed to be first to the final barrier lower down that hill and made a nice gap on the run / remount.
Crit shot was taken during a long and unadvised solo break. I got caught by 2 stronger ladies and wound up 3rd.
Pack shot was taken on a day I lost to my fiercest rival (crits and cyclocross both) She's the tall girl to my left, also on a white Redline. We almost always finished 1-2, it just depended on who felt better that day; we typically finished within 10-20 seconds of each other in a cross race and it was down to whoever made the final slipup. Six months after this shot was taken she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer - photo was taken in fall of '99 and she's now in full remission and already back to racing, and probably still tearing up the local Cincinnati racers.
