I had a pair of these on my Trek 5200 when I bought it, and the tires seemed very fast, with a alot of grip. They are extremely light as well. However, I must say that they are not the most flat-resistant tires, but for crits who cares. They really are a good race tire, but since I ride on a wide variety of questionable streets (new construction, glass etc.) I replaced them with the heavier but more flat-resistant Specialized Turbo Armadillos. They are not as fast as the Bontragers.

For fast group rides I put the Bontragers back on just for the speed. (I think the tires weigh only 165 or 185gr).

Happy riding!
