Oh yes. Looking forward to it. Weather is supposed to be nice as well. Several friends from Indy coming down but I heard there won't be any camping at Cascades. Of course being a local I'll stay at home. I rode part of the Saturday loop this morning; a little chilly but a fine ride indeed. If this is your first ride you will enjoy it. The fall colors look really nice right now. Color everywhere. Ah all is good in Btown!

Have fun!!! I hope 4bykn reads this post...he is going to be there too. You guys should hook up. I just sold my ticket, though I'm quite tempted to go. Its no use. My knees better now, but I only have double on the bike--I fear I'd need more. Well, there's always next year!

I checked the weather report and you guys are gonna have great weather. 70's on Saturday. Have a blast!!

-Till next year!

Sold your ticket? You just show up the day of the ride and pay the one day fee and ride. Put the biggest cassette on you can get and go!!
Sounds good but...Kristin

...the biggest cassette I got is 12-23. Not gonna cut it. My knee is just healed, and I don't think I could spin all those hills in 23x39. I'd probably re-injure it. Grrrr... I did want to go though!

Nope, I should save my pennies for that new frame, then show up next year and kick butt! Are you going to be there?
Sounds good but...4bykn

We'll miss ya' Kristin. Maybe drink one in your honor, but it won't be a mudslide, only beer at my campsite! See you in the spring?

Used to live 2 hours south of Chicago in a corn field. No longer. But I had done the hilly a few years back and just relating my experience for that day. I showed up, paid and rode. Lots of folks on MTB's that could not hold a line to save their life and wanted to go like hell down the hills.
I'll be there!4bykn

I'm in, and there better be camping available, since I bought a camping pass! Anybody is welcome to stop by the campground and say hi, look for the black Ford F-150 with my screen name on the plates. Ask for Mike.
