I'll be visiting Seattle next week. Since I can't take my bike and ride, I thought I'd pass the time looking for winter bike clothes. Can you recomend a shop?

Seattle is veritably crawling with bike shops. Some of the ones that might be best for your purposes are Eliot Bay downtown and Gregg's in Greenlake. Ti Cycles in Ravenna is also quite good. What neighborhood will you be staying in?

Next time your at the Pikes Place Market stop by Elliott Bay Bicycles at 2116 Western Ave. It's where Bill Davidson builds his bicycles. He has his bikes and quite a few other high to middle priced models there. It's a great place to see beautifully made bikes. The people that work there are friendly and knowledgeable
I meant IF you get to the Pikes Place Market downtown! <nm>zzz

A good place to shop for winter cycling clothes is the R.E.I store in downtown Seattle. They have a huge Bike department and guaranteed that you will leave there loaded down!

Gregg's at Greenlake is the biggest, take 65th off of I5, just north of university of Washington area
Elliot Bay is on North end of Pike Place Market, a block north from were the brick road ends
Il Vecchio is on Lake Washington, in Leschi area, small but very unique, sells nice bikes and nice clothing, but not huge inventory
Gregg's is in Bellevue, east of Lake Washington
Ti Cycles is just north of University of Washington, right off of the bike trail.
