|Ultegra bb & Integrated HS Maintenance||jagiger|

|I got a new (used) bike this year off the internet. It's a 2001 Cannondale R2000si which I lucked into. Technology wise it's a whole new ball game, since my previous ride was a '75 Peguet. So I have a few maintenance questions:
What do you do to keep things up to snuff for:
Campy integrated head set on the Cannondale CAAD5 frame &
is there anything needed for Campy Chorus pedal which are
supposed to be sealed.
I also spoke to Mavic & they said the hubs on my K-wheels don't need anything.
Thanks for your help!

|No maintenence on the Ultegra BB. While I know that it is humanly possible to dis-assemble it, overhaul, and reassemble, it wasn't designed to be rebuilt and should go in the trash when it ceases to work.
Campy hiddenset requires the same maintenence as any non-sealed HS, an annual overhaul should be more than sufficient.

|Having not been there, I'm assuming that the Campy hiddenset is not removed & is cleaned on the bike. Any thing worth mentioning?|

|It wouldn't be a good idea to remove any headset to clean it. Niether the headset nor the headtube are designed for repeated installations and removals. But you can remove the guts from the hiddenset for cleaning just like any other headset.|
