|I was given a 93 Litespeed frame but on one chainstay the wheel rubbed into it and then caused a stress fracture. I was wondering if it is possible to tig weld somer ti on to the spot and make the frame work again. Or is there another way to fix it?|

|Send it back to LS.
They will repair it for a nominal charge (or they used to)
Even if it costs you a few$ once its repaired, it will still have lots of life in her.
Also, LS will recondition it, new decals etc.
It'll be like new.

|When welding titanium it has to be completely shielded from the atmosphere. this can be done in a box with glove holes where the box is completely filled with an inert gas. Normal welding procedures that are used on steel or aluminum require a less pure enviornment.
