Is my shadow a better cyclist than I am?Humma Hah

There I was, cycling to work this morning, sun at my back and a bit over my left shoulder, when I noticed my riding companion, my shadow.

His huge, long legs pounded powerfully, tapering to a trim waist, topped by a tiny body. All legs and little unaerodynamic torso, the perfect cycling physique. His bike was impressive, too, with eight-foot wheels!

I fear, as a cyclist, I am but a shadow of my shadow!

Does your shadow have a phone number? He sounds lovely to ride next to. My shadow is lonely and likes cycling legs!

then your shadow will be forever, vainly, trying to keep up with you!

I say your shadow is really a reflection of the source - hence the physique!!

Positive thoughts, Humma, Positive Thoughts!!

You rode too many circles 'round Miramar Lake(?), Pilgrum :)

Think you'll ever see those San Diego shadows again ??
