Freeze warning in effect for central Pa, temps in the 20's! Guess I'll be breaking out the tights and winter jacket! (Work from 330pm to 12mid-nothing like a crisp, cold autumn night to clear your head!)
Sorry about the double post! (nm)look271

It's not the cold that's getting me, Mr. Edtarwheel

It's the short days. It's getting harder and harder to squeeze in my daily ride after work and before it gets too dark. I can only leave work so early. Pretty soon I'm gonna have to start bringing my bike to work so I can ride at lunch. Unfortunately, commuting is not an option where I live, if you value your life at all.

I agree, It get's light at 7:15 and the suns setting at 7:00. I get home from work at 5:30. At most I can ride one hour after work. I keep a bike at the office and usually ride 2-3 times per week during lunch. On a positive note, it's only 73 days until the days start to get longer.

Don't know if it's worse though but unlike you, I go to work early and leave work early so not only now is it dark, cold, and windy in the morning, I'm half asleep! I just bought a set of real lights (Marwi Kamikazis 12w/20w for commuting and for MTBing) and waiting for their arrival... Getting my winter gear in shape too...remember the layers and protect the ears which for me seem to get coldest the fastest.
