I have a trek 1000 (the yellow w/blue lettering adn threaded headset) and I am looking at upgrading the fork. Does anyone know what size it take's a 1" or a 1 1/8". And are there any suggestions on which fork to go with. I am looking at the Eastoc C70 with carbon steerer tube.

Thanks
Matt

My Trek catalogue says its a 1". Figgerin it out is a no brainer.Measure the quill at the minimum insertion point. 22.2mm diam translates to 1" steerer.Pull the stem and top nut. measure steerer tube. 1" diameter translates to 1" steerer.
