My saddle frame squeaks, Brooks Conquest... (6 posts)
| My saddle frame squeaks, Brooks Conquest... | UncleMoe Sep 27, 2001 10:47 AM | | I have a Brooks Sprung saddle on a touring bike. It is the Brooks Conquest and is comfortable as heck and takes out a ton of the little bumps.
However, the thing squeaks like mad when I'm peddling, which is most of the time (lol). Anyone know a trick to taking the squeak out of a saddle's frame?
In general I love the saddle, but the sound is just bugging me. I also have a B17 that emits no noises and I may have to return the Conquest for another B17 for this touring bike, and just have a bumpier ride. |

or
Is the squeking from some of the joints where the frame connects to the springs and saddle, or even to the seatpost.
I guess I'm asking, has anyone else had this problem and where exactly do you grease it? |
