NSA-OCE Century--too late to RSVP?hms

Is it too late to RSVP for the NSA-OCE Century? If not, I would like to participate. Also, how do I get to the starting point? I will be coming from Baltimore via I-95 and I-495?
Everyone welcome. Hope to see you there.MB1

Miss M says we are going to bag the snowcones since the temps are likely to only be in the high 60s.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2001
NSA-OCE FIXTE CENTURY, starting from Nokesville Community Park. Meeting time is 7:15am for a 7:30 departure. Here's the ride description: 50/70/100 * VA * 7:30 AM * Nokesville Community Park (NCP)
NSA-OCE Fixte Century (With Snow Cone Option). Fairly to very flat, the last 20 miles are rolling. There are 50-, 70-, & 100-mile options. We'll be riding our track bikes, hence "NSA" = "no shifting available", and "OCE" =
"or coasting either"; but everyone and every type of bike is welcome, especially if one participates in the spirit of the ride and holds shifting and coasting to a minimum. Bonus points for single speeds. Snow Cones at the
park after the ride. (No seconds on snow cones for gear heads!) RSVP for Snow Cones. Ride leaders intend to ride a "B" pace for the full century.

Mark & Mercedes mbaird@pepcotechnologies.com;

Miss M is Mercedes, I am pretty sure she would not like to be called Miss M by a stranger. And she knows I am pretty strange. ;-)
Thanks for the reply-I'm planning to be there-nmhms

I cross-posted this on MTBR Singlespeed ...Humma Hah

... I posted about the ride a few weeks ago, but figured they needed a reminder.

There are at least 3 singlespeeders on that forum in the area, but I've not heard if any will be there.
Looking forward to meeting you ...Humma Hah

... I expect to be there. I need the ride -- I've barely done any in the last few weeks.
