Replacing pads in shortsMick

Does anyone know someone who'll replace pads in cycling shorts? I have a couple of older pair of shorts that are still in excellent shape but I need to replace the worn out pads.

Branford Bike used to offer this but they say they've lost their subcontractor who did the work.
Why bother? Even the heavy duty lycra..Brooks

is usually getting thin by the time the chamois wears out. I usually take the chamois out by carefully removing all the threads and turn the shorts into compression shorts. Great under gym shorts for working out, other athletic events like basketball, baseball, skiing etc to keep the thighs and quads warm.

I have done it in the past. Just found a local seamstress to do it.
