|Everything I read about improving speed suggests doing interval training. I would like to hear from some of you here, exactly how you do them. How many do you do? What constitutes full recovery between intervals (time, HR, perception, etc.). Road vs. trainer? How often per week. As I've mentioned before I'm a recreational / fitness rider. I've done about 3000 miles since this time last year. Usually get in about 100 miles per week. Any really practical routines that you have used and found beneficial would be appreciated.
By the way. Enjoyed the thread on crazy stunts on a bicycle. Brings back some great memories from my early days.
