What year did ONCE start riding Giant bikes?spookyload

I sold a fork to a guy that came off my ONCE TCR. It was a 1999 ONCE frame it came off of, but he said it didn't look like his old one. He sent a picture and sure enough it wasn't the same. The fork I had used bent carbon legs, his had the straight legs like they are using right now. He thought mine might have come off a 1998, but to the best of my knowledge, ONCE was still riding LOOK frames in 1998. Anyone know why two different forks were used on the same year and model frame. I know mine was the ONCE fork because it had the little blind dude on the dropouts.
Pretty sure it was'99.look271

The best I can tell from my research is that Once started with Giant in 1998. They made the switch to the Compact road design when it was ruled "legal" for competition in 1999. Not your answer, but I hope it helps.

were the first production framesets when ONCE started using Giant frames. I can vaguely remember ads in Bicycling mag in 97-98 of Laurent Jalabert on Giant frames w/curved fork. Yes, yours is original albeit the older version.
