|Has anyone used this saddle? I'm one of those unlucky few on his never-ending quest for a comfortable saddle. I've purchased 8 saddles in the past 2 years and only one of them comes close to being acceptable. That was selle italia prolink gel and I think I fit better on a wider flatter saddle. When I mentioned this, a friend of mine suggested I try to find an older squadra HDP saddle from san marco. If you have tried this saddle, please post your opinions. Thanx.|

|For several years this was my saddle of choice. I would have occasional saddle sores but nothing too bad. I then tried the Specialized Body Geometry saddle and have been on them ever since. Nice fit for me...never had saddle sores or soreness since.|

|Have you tried a Brooks? They are WIDE and come in narrower widths as well.|

|rode one for about 5years. comfortable with a rounded rather than flat profile. I recently switched to a selle italia gel flite which I like better. If you prefer flatter saddle try a gel flite.|

|I had similar saddle woes after purchasing a new bike and settled on Selle's XO (non-gel) saddle. It's wider and flatter than their other saddles, but you have to look in your LBS's orphan saddle bin or on eBay to find them. (They were standard on some low-end LeMond bikes, plus some Giants. |
I love my XO. For $15, I bought two. Hopefully not the only two left!

|When I bought my Torelli in '96, it was equipped with a Squadra. I used it for about a month before switching to a Flite. The Squadra was a bit mushy feeling and wide for my taste. It's been sitting in the back of my closet for years. You're welcome to it if you want it. The only catch is that it's got "Torelli" in big red letters and the Torelli logo on the top of the saddle. Even if you don't like the logos, you'll be able to figure out if you like the saddle. If you want it, e-mail me your info and I'll send it off to you: email@example.com.

|I have been riding this saddle for the last six years and have to say I have been very pleased. Before moving to the Squadra, I was riding a Stella Italia Flite Ti prior and experience frequent numbness on even shorter rides. I heard Inderain used this saddle so I gave it a try (alright, the fact that it was one of the first saddles to address numbness helped too).
The saddle has a good shape and just enough padding to prevent the numbness I was getting before. It actually was a pretty easy transition from the very little padded Flite I was riding before.
Now after my six years of abuse I have been thinking about getting a new saddle and if you found a place that still has them I would go buy another in a minute.
If you have any other questions, post here or email me directly.

I think there are still places on the net selling this saddle. But so far I have only found ones with cromo rails. Try: http://www.branfordbike.com/saddles/saddle1.html#item5
